MEET Brittony Towles-Stanley
BGCNCFL LEAD TEACHER & AmeriCorps Coordinator
"Hey Y'all! A little about me — I’ve been a teacher for over a decade, and for the past seven years, I’ve had the joy of working with the amazing crew at the Boys & Girls Club, Veterans Unit.
I’m a busy mom of three awesome kids, plus I’ve got two dogs, a cat, and a flock of chickens who definitely keep life interesting! πΎπ
I’m all about staying active — whether it’s moving, building, or trying something new. I truly believe the best way to learn is by jumping in, getting your hands dirty, and having fun along the way.
I’m super excited for this new adventure and can’t wait to keep working with young people to help shape the future (while making a few great memories together)! π"

MEET Tracy Dees, CSM
BGCNCFL AmeriCorps Program Director, HR Specialist, Safety Committee Chairperson
"Hello all! I’m a proud Tayco native from Perry, FL — where sweet tea and big dreams are just part of daily life. I’m a Leo (so yes, I will hype you up), a mom to two awesome little boys, and I firmly believe that having ADHD is my superpower — it keeps me creative, energetic, and constantly moving forward!
I started my AmeriCorps journey as a Member back in 2019 and loved it so much that I became the Program Director in 2020. Since then, it’s been an incredible ride getting to lead this program and cheer on each new group of Members as they learn and grow.
When I’m not running around with the AmeriCorps crew, I proudly serve as the Chairperson of the BGCNCFL Safety Committee — because keeping our Club Kids and team safe is a top priority (and honestly, I worry like a mom for everyone!).
Before all this, I built a strong background in customer service, management, professionalism, and conflict resolution — but at the end of the day, what I really love is building people up, solving problems, and keeping things fun.
I believe in the power of serving our community, showing up for each other, and making a difference — all while laughing a lot along the way! π"
