Red Cross

Through the support of a grant from the American Red Cross, the Boys & Girls Club of North Central Florida has strengthened its capacity to serve children and families during times of crisis. This funding has enabled the Club to expand its emergency preparedness efforts and enhance its ability to respond effectively to disasters. A key element of this initiative has been the Club’s partnership with Taylor County Emergency Management. Together, they have coordinated response plans, provided staff training, and ensured that Club facilities are integrated into the county's broader disaster response network. This collaboration ensures that the Club can serve as a safe, supportive haven for youth during emergencies and contribute meaningfully to community recovery efforts.
